a busy but rewarding year for butler interiors
From new partnerships and factory trips, to professional developments and personal highs, 2023 has been a busy but rewarding year for the team at Butler Interiors.
Read more about our teams’ highlights for 2023:
Liam Butler – Designer:
I’d say that completing the installation on my favourite design to date, has been a standout moment for me this year.
And an installation, on our cantilever island design, was another favourite of mine. This was particularly note-worthy for being unique and the first time we’ve had a large structural, and integral, part of the kitchen commissioned from metal fabrication company.
And of course – the Schüller trip to Germany!
Paul Ridley – Installation Manager, and Don Crinion – Kitchen Fitter, also added their highlights from this years’ Schüller trip:
The Schüller trip enabled the team to get a thorough insight into the fabrication and production of Schüller kitchens. The factory and showroom were incredible. The trip gave a better understanding of the products, which will help when discussing products and designs with clients as well as tradesmen onsite.
Mark Butler – Director:
Our Installation Manager, Paul, has really been finding his feet and beginning to shine. This has been a huge benefit to the business so that I can now take a step back from the operational side and focus more on the business direction, and how we move forward.
This progression has enabled me to begin work with a business coach, who I can already tell will have a fantastic and positive impact on the future of Butler Interiors, which is so exciting.
As well as exciting new partnerships and developments to the business this year, we also consistently create so many fantastic kitchen designs! I honestly could not pick a favourite. Our designers continue to deliver luxury and bespoke designs to all our clients.
Sophie Askew – Designer:
My personal highlight during 2023 has been our visit to the Schüller factory and showroom in Germany. The trip really gave me huge inspiration and drove my creativity as a designer.
2023 has also been my first opportunity to participate in design award entries. Just taking part on behalf of Butler Interiors really drives my ambition to achieve, grow creatively, and develop my imagination and passion for design.
Cristine Atkinson – Designer:
A big highlight was of course joining Butler Interiors this year! They have been an amazing, welcoming, and supportive team, and I am looking forward to continuing to work with them in 2024.
Mark Carradus – Kitchen Fitter:
A kitchen that I installed in Keswick this year was a highlight for me. It was surrounded by stunning landscapes and the views were incredible. The best views for kitchen fitting to date.
Lisa Oliver-Hannis – Accounts, Office & Client Support:
For me, I’d have to say the individuals that I work with have been a highlight for 2023. I really couldn’t imagine a better group to share my working day with. I can’t wait to see how we grow and evolve, and what we achieve in 2024.
Amy Skidmore – Office Manager & Client Support:
The selling of the pre-loved kitchens is a personal highlight for me. Not only does it make a positive impact on the environment, but it’s such a fantastic opportunity and to raise money for charity. We sold two pre-loved kitchens in May this year, which enabled us to donate £1000 to the North West Air Ambulance charity.
I also think that being involved in beautiful kitchen installations, making friendships and connections with our fantastic clients, is a special part of my role at Butler Interiors.
And most importantly – working with our wonderful team! I am so proud of all of them for working so, so hard this year, selling, designing and installing beautiful kitchens.
Lisa and I are both long standing members of the team with over 25 years’ experience between us within the office now. We love working together, and it provides the team and clients with a consistent, trusting, working environment.
And what can we expect from 2024? Some of the team have shared their thoughts about the opportunities that await the new year.
Looking forward to 2024
Liam:
I’m looking forward to getting creative and designing a plethora of stunning new kitchens!
I also can’t wait to see BORA’s new product launch in 2024, as well as getting some of their new products on display.
And I am looking forward to attending KBB exhibition in Birmingham in March 2024, which will be a great opportunity to see a showcase of KBB’s top brands.
Sophie:
2024 is going to be a very exciting year for me, in a different sense, as I take on the role of becoming a new mum to my first little bundle of joy.
Professionally, I very much am looking forward to seeing some of my current projects coming to life in the new year and I am excited to see Liam and Cristine’s projects, creations and designs installed throughout 2024, as they are both such fantastic designers.
Mark:
In 2024, we are looking forward to installing our luxury kitchens within the new MH Stainton, Parklands development in Caton. Michael Stainton has a fantastic reputation for high quality properties, and it’s such an honour to work with him on this development.
I always start a new year with lots of new and exciting ideas and intentions. This year, I feel as though I have all the correct parts in place to bring it all together and implement these innovations effectively.
I am looking forward to moving ahead with our business coach, which will not only benefit the business, but more importantly it will benefit all our fantastic team members too.
Our team at Butler Interiors want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We can’t wait to see what 2024 has in store for us.
