Contemporary rustic charm
A beautiful period property
As keen cooks, our client required adequate space to cook, prepare, and dine. Appliance specification was crucial, as was the creation of a modern, usable space to entertain.
To significantly enhance the natural light and open up the space, we proposed to remove the connecting wall between the kitchen and sunroom.

The perfect combination of form and function
Remaining considerate of the South Lakeland countryside setting, we balanced the property’s original features with a modern, sleek style. The warm tones of the green and matt glass doors add a heritage colour palette and subtly nod to the age of the property.
To reflect and bring nature inside, we kept elements as close to their natural appearances as possible, taking advantage of natural shape, grain, knots, and imperfections for visual impact. We incorporated a Spekva Timber breakfast bar in Safari Basilica and complemented this with Silestone Poblenou Suede worktops and a Sandine coloured glass splashback.
