Name: Mark Butler

Job Description: Director / Owner of Butler Interiors.

Kitchen must have: The Quooker Cube. With the new CUBE, you can now also dispense sparkling and chilled water from the Quooker tap. As well as the hot, cold and boiling water facilities.

Hobbies: My hobbies are spending time with my children & family. I believe I am a family man in its true form, I really enjoy walking Rosie (my dog), whether that would be locally or in the Lakes and Dales.

My all-time hobby has to be motorcycling whether that is riding in local club trials, riding enduro’s or greenlining, riding my road bike or my annual trip to the IOM TT races (which of course then leads to nights away in the van wild camping on a beach somewhere). My happy days!

Name: Paul Ridley

Job Description: Installation Manager. NVQ in Joinery & Carpentry.

Kitchen must-have: I really like the Bora Hobs, with integrated downdraft extraction. From an installation and design point of view, they are fantastic appliances.

Hobbies: I enjoy spending time with my family. Me and my partner have two young boys that have very busy social lives, which is great! So when not at work we do play ‘Taxi’ quite a lot to various different clubs etc. In my spare time I like to get out walking, mountain biking and going on holidays.

I joined the Butler Interiors team full-time in September 2022 as Installation Manager after working alongside them for a few years as a Kitchen Installer/Joiner.

Name:  Amy Skidmore

Job Description: Office Manager, Client support.

Kitchen Must have: Fusion Square boiling water tap – most definitely. The Quooker Fusion is a boiling-water tap and mixer tap in one. It’s beautiful, modern, sleek and so functional. No waiting for the kettle to boil. I think I would choose the Matt Black or Gold version.

Hobbies: Some may say boring but I love being at home with my little family: staying in is the new going out – as they would say. Log Burner lit & a glass of fizz is to me just perfection!

My little boy is my world and I love spending time with him, going on adventures and teaching him about life. Where possible we love to be outdoors, walking, biking, exploring the lovely lake district and natural beauties on our doorstep – Silverdale is a firm family favourite.

My interests are most definitely interior design, beautiful home décor, photography, and music! Life is definitely better with music.

Name:  Liam Butler

Job Description: Designer, Degree in Kitchen Design, BA (Hons) Bucks New University.

Kitchen must have: The most important thing in a kitchen is, functional and practical design. Combined with quirky design features, that gives the kitchen character and personality.

Hobbies: I love outdoor adventure sports! I’m an avid white-water kayaker and also enjoy climbing, mountain biking & hiking. My number one hobby, however, is and always will be skiing. I used to work as a ski instructor in Japan, which was amazing!

Liam joined the company in 2017 and quickly proved to be a very talented designer. Liam has also just finished his University degree in Kitchen Design. He has been completing this alongside a very busy work schedule, and has been graded with a Distinction!!!

Name: Sophie Askew

Job Description: Designer, Degree in Product Design: Furniture BA (Hons) Sheffield Hallam University

Kitchen must have: A kitchen favourite of mine are the flex induction hobs. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen trying different recipes, so being able to use any size pans or griddle plates and get even cooking is really very handy.

Hobbies: Like Amy, I am a bit of a home bird. I love popping on my wellies and pottering about the garden. When I can, I like to go for a swim or try different arts and craft workshops (anything creative!) I would say my passion is definitely interior design.

Name: Cristine Atkinson

Job Description: Designer. Degree in Interior Architecture & Design BA (Hons) Leeds Metropolitan University

Kitchen must haves: I’m all about Colour & Layering! Traditional or Modern, a pop of colour can transform a space from basic to amazing. Thinking about the materials you use throughout your space can create warmth and depth from floor to ceiling, everything should be considered. Also, a Quooker Tap, A Practical Must have and kinder on the wallet compared to daily use of the traditional kettle!!

Hobbies: My hobbies Consist of spending time with my little Family. My two girls keep me busy with hair brushing and daily outfit changes alone!

I get up most mornings and head to the gym for an hour’s class. I just think this is a fabulous start to the day! My personal passion in life is 100% anything Interior design. I’m constantly creating new mood boards and eyeing up rooms I can re decorate in my own house or buy an accessory or two for!

Name: Mark Carradus

Job Description: Fully employed Kitchen fitter.

Kitchen Must Have: My favourite must have in the kitchen would have to be… I honestly don’t have just one. Schuller furniture is an excellent product of very high quality. It’s extremely good to install and looks fantastic!

Hobbies: My hobbies are spending time with my family. I really enjoy walking my dogs on the beach. I enjoy all things mechanical, especially tinkering with cars. In my spare time, I go trials biking, entering competitions when I can.

I have worked with Mark from the very beginning, over 15 years!

Name: Don Crinion

Job Description: Fully employed Kitchen fitter.

Kitchen must have: My favourite must have in the kitchen is a Dishwasher. They are just so practical. Everyone needs a dishwasher!

Hobbies: My hobbies include, socialising with friends at the weekend. Watching different sports on television and sunshine holidays abroad!

Quite partial to a signature brightly coloured shirt or two – I enjoy shopping!

Name: Roger & Kate

Job Description: Mark’s Mum & Dad

Kitchen must have: We really both love the Quooker Cube tap with chilled sparkling water! It’s fantastic!

Hobbies: Roger is very much into watching sport on television. He like all things mechanical, bikes cars etc. Kate is very talented in her baking and crafting, joining in with local art classes. They both really enjoy their sunshine summer holidays.

They both love being involved with Butler Interiors. Whether that be helping with deliveries, loading, helping in the showrooms and bringing in freshly baked homemade scones for the hard workers! Yum…

We would be lost without Roger and Kate! The support they have given Butler Interiors over the years shows the family’s true values. Plus they make us ALL smile!!

Name: Rosie

Job Description: Head of Security and Exercise Coach

Kitchen Must-Have: A large bowl of chilled filtered water from the Quooker tap.  This is perfect for when I come back from a long walk!

Hobbies: Walking, running, chasing a ball, swimming in any bit of water I can find and chasing birds (though I have never caught one yet!!) and love giving doggy cuddles to humans.  I go out for walks at least twice a day, but my favourite days are the long walks out in the countryside or up mountains in the Lakes and Dales – new smells excite me and I often rack up many more miles than my humans…my tracker proves it!!
